Maximize the Netscape window by clicking on the maximize button located on the top right hand corner of the window.

In order to maximize screen space, it is recommended that the Netscape Directory Buttons and Location Bar be hidden from view, since these are not needed when using the tutorial.

Hiding the Netscape Directory Buttons and Location Bar

• Go to the Options menu and choose Show Directory Buttons. This should remove the check-mark from that option. (If it doesn't, repeat this step)

  

  
  
• Go to the Options menu and choose Show Location.

  

  
  

If keeping the Netscape toolbar visible is essential, then use the following procedure to minimize the amount of space it occupies:

• Go to the Options menu, and choose General Preferences.
• Click on the Appearance tab.
• In the Toolbars box, click on the Text checkbox in the Show Toolbars As: field.
• Click OK (at the bottom)
